The Birth of Love Orchestrated

Weddings are one of the most celebrated days in ones life... but so are friendships. Since 2007 a friendship between "soulmates" has been born. Yes soulmate and not bestfriends... this is between Patricia Sorongon and Lyra Joyce Pagulayan. They met at their office in the province of Los BaƱos Laguna, shared the same interests like food, travel and their belief in God. They grew together as friends and then one day, they decided to call each other "soulmates" since they believe that they were each others long lost sister and their relationship was way beyond the bond of friends.

Through the years they went through a lot together... from joys, to sadness, love to heartaches, family, and major decisions in their career. They had each others shoulder to lean on every step of the way.

As you can see.... even in getting haircuts they had the same thought in mind. :)

Yup! They celebrated each milestone that came their way since they became soulmates and that includes traditional occasions like birthdays, Christmas, graduations, travel adventures and most of all weddings.

In the year 2011, the boyfriend of Patricia proposed marriage to her, which led to 8 months of solid preparation. Since Lyra has been in-charge of preparing for a series of weddings the past years for her brothers and cousins, Pat and Mike were off to a good head start with a checklist in hand of things to do during the preps. From wedding expos to site visits of different beach resorts, booking suppliers, finding pegs to fit the theme the couple had in mind, budget issues, and even detailing for Pat's wedding. As always Lyra and Pat were in it together. Since Pat and Mike wanted an intimate wedding, they decided to just prepare everything needed for the wedding day and ask some close friends to help out. Of course Lyra was the maid-of-honour and the head coordinator for the wedding day. All Pat had to do was make sure that every little thing was accounted for when it came to the documents needed, things to be set-up, distributed, turned over, and even the balances to be settled before the day itself. God gave Lyra and Pat a calm spirit with everything they dealt with.

There were sleepless nights due to active brain responses for the details, non-stop checking of needs of not only the couples' but also the needs of their families and friends for resort accommodation bookings, van rentals, measurements, fittings, buying supplies for the games and those needed for emergency, securing checklists (entourage and supplier list with full names, pictures and their contact numbers; wedding program; time table; ins and outs of people at a certain time at the venue, etc). Pat turned over all these things to Lyra for final checking and management.

On January 07, 2012 Patricia had her Cinderella wedding and it was perfect. Thanks to Lyra and her close friends who made a huge effort to help out the day before the big day and on the day itself. In a beach setting, with an aisle of torches starting from the top of the stairs as Pat started her procession up until the main path adorned with calla lilies and vines that led to Mike whom she has been friends with for 14 years, as he stood at the canopy with lilac and apple green cloths with touches of white flowers around it, with the ocean and the sun setting at the back, it was all so breathless. As cliche as it may sound, she was the happiest bride on that day.

Of course as with any other wedding some things happened that could not be controlled like changes had to be done to the entourage list, asking other people to take part of the procession, some minor microphone difficulty, but all in all, praise God that was it. PERIOD. It was a glitch free wedding. The weather was perfect, none of the suppliers were late or even committed a mistake, even the guests and entourage were on-time considering that the venue was in Anilao Batangas. People enjoyed the food, games and bonding. All the guests had a relaxed and fun time. A lot commented on the ceremony set-up where people were seated on "banigs" with pillows on the lawn. It was all just so fun.

The celebration was topped off by a sky lantern release by the sea shore. It was a sign of releasing all the well wishes of the guests for the couple and lifting it up to the Lord. The reception program even ended 1.5 hours early since everything was on time without much difficulty. All our suppliers are therefore given a 101% rating for a job well done.

As each couple prepare for their wedding we usually think that it will be perfect just because we did all the preparation, but for Mike and Pat, they knew in their hearts that Gods hand was upon their wedding, that He was the one who brought them together, orchestrated their love story, and concluded it on their wedding day as He blessed them with the "perfect wedding".

You might think as you read this story, that it wasn't "that" perfect, but actually the best advice that can be given to all the bride and grooms, on your big day, if something goes wrong, don't stress about it anymore. Your standard of perfection should be simply that you are going to marry the man or woman that you have prayed for and loved and that it is all about you and him/her with God in the center and nobody else. In the end that is all that matters and should matter.

After this momentous event in Pat's life, the "soulmates" realized that they loved every moment of the wedding preparations and it made them want to give the same love and attention for other brides, grooms or couples preparing for their wedding. The two girls prayed about it and finally decided to take on coordinating for other soon to be wed couples. Thus the birth of the new wedding coordination team "Love Orchestrated".

The team is happy to report that they had their first client last 10 March 2012, a dear dear friend of Pat and Lyra, Ms. Ems Abasolo. It's actually kind of a rush thing since the client only had one supplier booked one month away from her wedding. Details on this full-coordination in another entry. :) Suspense! :) It was followed by 3 more weddings for on-the-day and semi-coordination from couples in the country, and those from abroad that just came home to have their big day.

Truly this is the start of their new journey together as soulmates. Its not about the money... its actually about the peace the team can help give the couple on their big day that matters. It's the most important thing. So to those that would like to be a part of this journey and give the "Love Orchestrated" team a try, just PM Pat or Lyra for inquiries. Note that they have placed it in their heart to meet with the couple first before clients even book the team, so that they can properly decide if they are willing to give their complete trust for their wedding day. We hope that the "Love Orchestrated" team can be a part of your most special day.

So to end this posting I present to you with the on-site wedding video of Pat and Mike c/o Dennis of Nice Print Photo.

Enjoy and God bless!!!
